Dr Louise Misselke
Dr Louise Misselke- Principal of The Guernsey Institute College. Louise has worked in education for over 20 years and has been Principal for 5 years. Louise has been central to working with the partners in the Consortium to plan, prepare and deliver excellent training for our community on this important piece of legislation. Louise will be collating the feedback from each session so that additional training needs can be identified.
Sarah Ash
Sarah is a Group Partner in the Walkers Channel Islands Employment team, based in Guernsey. Sarah advises on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law, including tribunal claims and procedure, contracts of employment, internal grievance and disciplinary matters, managing sickness absence, misconduct and capability issues, dismissals, discrimination, employment policies and procedures, redundancies and aspects of mergers, acquisitions and disposals.
Sarah is recognised by Legal 500 as a Next Generation Partner, and has experience in advising companies in a broad range of industries including financial services, insurance, legal and media.
She also has in-house secondment experience working within both employment legal and HR teams and spent time in a major international bank where she gained invaluable experience of employment related matters from the client's perspective.
Danielle Brouard
Danielle Brouard is a Senior Counsel in Walkers' Guernsey Employment Practice Group. She advises on all aspects of employment law, focusing in particular on discrimination and employment-related disputes.
Danielle spent 14 years practising in the London office of a major international law firm, working across the full range of contentious and non-contentious employment law issues.
Her core practice involves drafting and negotiating employment documentation, assisting with HR processes and employee relations matters, advising on the enforceability of restrictive covenants, representing clients in employment tribunal litigation and advising on employment aspects of transactions.
Danielle also has in-house experience, having undertaken a six-month client secondment with British Airways, advising on employee relations and trade union issues.
